The course aims to enhance the student’s knowledge in various areas, for assessment of nutrients in food for maintaining health, quality, composition and safety properties available in food ingredients, fundamentals of balanced diet and understanding the importance of fitness and exercise. In addition, Candidates will be knowledgeable in life cycle nutrition, Human physiology, metabolism, medical nutrition therapy, nutrition counselling, public health and nutrition, Drug and nutrient interaction and toxicology, Nutrigenomics & Nutraceuticals , physical fitness, food product development, health communication. The course offers many career opportunities to the candidates after its completion.
