Food Science Technology, Nutrition and Dietetics

 

The Department of Biotechnology and Microbiology was established in the year 2001 and has consistently ranked in All India Top 20 Private Biotechnology School by leading Biotechnology Magazine BioSpectrum. The department has been recognized as a Research Centre by the Bangalore University. Both undergraduate and post-graduate courses are offered by the department.

Ms. Nimisha Nigama of M.Sc. Biotechnology secured second place in oral presentation at the national conference organized by Arunai Engineering College, Tiruvannamalai, the title of the paper being “Rapid in vitro propagation of Coleus forskoli”.
Ms. Gurmeet Kaur secured second rank in M.Sc. Microbiology in 2012 batch, Bangalore University, Bangalore.
